Word of mouth is undoubtedly a powerful tool, as demonstrated by the experience of educator and long-time ETI client Bethany Pearce. Pearce, who is the vocal music director for grades 6-12 at Keystone Local Schools in Legrange, Ohio, has used ETI for her students’ travel needs since 2016, and recently benefitted from ETI’s Reward & Referral Program by referring a local colleague in another school district.
“ETI always puts together amazing and affordable itineraries for our students,” shared Pearce, whose high school choir students have traveled to Hershey, Cincinnati, New York City, and Pigeon Forge. “For many kids, this is the highlight of their high school choir experience, and we look forward to our tours every two years!”
Every trip for Pearce, even when the unexpected happens, has been a positive one.
“When we had to cancel our trip in April 2020 due to the pandemic, ETI were very easy and reasonable to work with,” she said. “All of their staff are very responsive to communication, and are always there to answer any questions I have! Their tour guides are incredible and have made our trips go very smoothly. I know we are in good hands any time we travel!”
Pearce has had such wonderful experiences that she sang ETI’s praises to her colleague who teaches choir in another school district.
“She was very interested in taking her choir to New York City, and had seen our itinerary and photos on Facebook,” Pearce said. “I referred her to ETI so that they could put together a similar itinerary for her choir!”
Thanks to her referral and the educator consequentially booking a trip with ETI, Pearce was rewarded by ETI.
“Since I had referred a colleague to ETI, I was able to receive a scholarship for one of my high school students to attend the trip free of charge this year,” Pearce said, noting that this particular student is from a low-income family, and would not have been able to go on the trip otherwise. “The student was very appreciative of the opportunity to go, and told me multiple times throughout the trip, ‘I am just having the best time!’ I believe that all young people should travel, and I am grateful to ETI for providing this student the chance to make memories and experience traveling with their classmates.”
