Emerging destinations offer a chance for enhanced educational experiences, including taking a look at science, technology, the arts, performance opportunities and more!
Last issue, we took a look at our second emerging destination from 2018—Memphis, Tennessee. In this issue, we’re taking a dive into Toronto, Ontario—our third emerging destination.
Said to be one of the most multi-culturally diverse cities on the planet, Toronto has so much to offer students visiting America’s neighbor to the north. Whether it’s getting a taste of local cuisine, learning the history behind Canada’s favorite sport, or performing at an actual castle, educational opportunities and transformative cultural experiences abound!
The exhilarating world of science awaits students at the Ontario Science Centre, while the greatest names and artifacts in hockey are on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame. Don’t forget to ride a thrilling rollercoaster at Canada’s Wonderland or schedule an encounter with undersea creatures at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada—the first Certified Autism Center in all of Canada.
Musically-inclined students can take advantage of performance opportunities while learning about life in early 20th-century Canada at Casa Loma, not to mention a chance to perform and enjoy the view at CN Tower. To refuel after all that fun, students can cheer on their favorite knight at Medieval Times or enjoy a dinner full of sightseeing on a Mariposa Dinner Cruise.
Students can top off the trip by soaking up the beauty of one of the most breathtaking natural wonders of the world: Niagara Falls. This famous attraction is just an hour and half away from the Toronto city center.
